Biomagnetic Massage Stones
"The Magic Bullets"

We believe that these are the most remarkable Biomagnetic products to come along in...well, ever!  They are manufactured by the same folks who make the magnetic hematite beads.  For massage, they are used in a set of four "bullets" which stick to each other and rest parallel in the fingers like this:

The stones will hold to each other magnetically and they will nest in the indentations between your fingers so that they can be held by the hand flat against the body.  Note:  If you try to put them crosswise to your fingers, you will find that they are hard to hold.

The stones are used over a thin (T-Shirt weight) material (never bare skin because they drag) and on any part of the body.  The stones are moved lightly and briskly in circular or back and forth motions (they don't roll) anywhere on the body.  They can also be positioned 2 x 2 and they will attract together.

and held with the four points against the body for more intense work on tight or spasmed muscles.  Remember, they are very strongly magnetized and so little if any pressure is needed -- just enough to hold them and move them.  The Magic Bullets have the effect of....

Question: I have seen these stones before but I thought they were just a toy for the kids.  Are these the same thing?

Answer:  Probably so except the toy ones may be smaller and not as strong.  They were introduced to the retail market in the U.S. with the name identification "New Toy".  Even though they were not intended to be a toy, because of the name they had been given by the manufacturer, they were distributed to toy retailers.  The thing is, kids love to play with magnets, and these massage stones are great fun to throw up in the air together because, as they attract together, they make a "rattlesnake" sound.  So, the Biomagnetic massage stones were a big hit with the kids, but not for the reason they were designed.  Our stones are made of the same strongly magnetized hematite, and they are sold in a set of four 2-inch stones because that is ideal for massage.  You do need to make sure the kids don't use these as a toy, though, because throwing them and making them rattle will also cause the polished stone surface to craze and chip or they could break if dropped on a hard surface, and they won't be good for massage anymore.
